  Greeted by a curt leave those pots on the table will clear them shortly it table service just sit down. Only redeemed by by a pleasant younger fair haired girl coming over and taking the order. Think it caters to its regulars and not to general passing trade. Shame really.

  Loved everything in the shop & made 2 purchases. Prices are really reasonable & they have some unusual pieces. Had afternoon tea for the second time in recent months & the quality was fantastic for the amount paid. I have to agree with another reviewer though that it's quite clear "regulars" receive a more prompt & attentive service; I had to ask for menus after being seated for 10 minutes without any being brought over, then had to ask again a further 10 minutes later if we could place our order. However, I appreciate the cafe was busy & the service was friendly when our order was eventually taken. I'm looking forward to my next visit when there will hopefully be more spring/summer stock available.
